Mark Charke has over 30 years of experience as a swimming instructor and lifeguard. He was a firefighter for 7 years, has studied judo and psychology. He offers private swim lessons to persons of all ages and abilities. A writer, he has been working on a swimming lesson manual for years and finds something new everyday.
Charke Swim offers private lessons in Nanoose Bay (Pacific Shores Resort) and in Nanaimo. A private lesson can only be booked by 1 customer but you can choose One Student or Two Students (this choice appears in the check out window). Each lesson is yours and taylored to the student(s) attending.
Known Glitch: It seems that some lessons are glitching and showing Departure Bay as the location. Please feel free to contact me if your location is in question. I'll be talking to my website provider about fixing this issue. The title of the lesson is where the lesson will run; EI, "1x Thurs 4:30-5PM, May 28, Nanoose".

Please Ask for a Keycard from the Front Desk to enter the pool for your class when you arrive and please return it when you are finished.
Please be aware I am allowed to have 2 people come into the swimming pool in bathing suits. Anyone else watching must do so from the Lobby outside the pool.
